Sherlock users can run real time, interactive investigations accessing multiple data sources via a cost effective pay per click model and rapidly receive the consolidated results on one screen. Sherlock’s enriched data sources will give insurance fraud investigators greater insight into a property which may be subject to a claim or featured in an investigation. The data service will validate the property type, the property attributes, sale or rental information as well as highlight anomalies related to the property condition.
Data includes information on property type eg. house, bungalow, flat and property style eg. detached, semi-detached, terraced [mid or end], conversion or purpose built flats; number of bedrooms/bathrooms; garage or parking availability; sale and rapid resale details; rental details; plus access to interior and exterior property images and floor plans. In-built, enhanced tools are also available via integrated links enabling property street view, property aerial view and street layout maps.

The UK insurance industry paid out £8.1m on domestic property claims every day in 2013, according to latest ABI figures. Set against increased claims costs, household premiums are falling.
