CRIF offers its suite of solutions to the UK government and other public and third party organisations, as part of the CCS’s ambitions to provide a one stop shop for open banking services for the whole of the public sector. CRIF’s array of services is available to central departments and other public sector organisations, from access to account, to categorisation and advanced analytics.
CRIF Ratings is the Credit Rating Agency registered with the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) which provides independent and reliable credit ratings and assessments. CRIF Ratings, a CRIF Group rating agency, is an External Credit Assessment Institution (ECAI) pursuant to the European Regulation no. 575/2013 (Capital Requirements Regulation). The agency is subject to supervision by the ESMA (European Securities and Markets Authority), the authority that contributes to safeguarding the stability of the European Union's financial system.
CRIF Ratings has been recognized as an ECAI (External Credit Assessment Institution) in accordance with European Regulation 575/2013 and the Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council 2013/36/EU, enabling all the ratings issued by CRIF Ratings to be used by banks, insurance companies and financial institutions for the determination of capital requirements for solvency purposes.
Through the acquisition of Credit Data Research Realtime Holdings Ltd. now CRIF Realtime Ltd., CRIF has become the first player in the credit information sector to be registered as an AISP. Registered in both the UK and EU CRIF operates as an AISP in 31 European countries.
